Why Birbal was close to Akbar?
It is a very old-time story. Once Akbar was the emperor's court. All the courtiers, pundits, ministers and general public were also sitting in the court. At that time, there was an atmosphere of laughter in the court. Everyone was busy in that. Akbar also looked very happy.
But there was one thing that always kept Akbar going, which was that all the courtiers were very jealous of Birbal's decision. Their decisions were nothing in front of Birbal.
So they were very jealous of Birbal, but they could not muster the courage to speak in front of Birbal. In the absence of Birbal's court, Akbar always used to bridge the praises of Birbal.
When Birbal was absent in the court, the courtiers used to provoke the emperor by provoking malice towards Birbal. But Akbar had great faith in Birbal's cleverness. Amid the laughter in the court, Akbar made up his mind to test the court.
